How can install .exe applications on Linux

.exe mean "executable" and they are made for Microsoft Operating systems such as Windows-98, Windows-XP, Vista, Windows-7... and they are not free and open source.

But Linux Operating systems are normally free and open source. File systems of Linux and Windows are different and normally their softwares are not working on another platforms.

However there is a way to execute .exe files on Linux same as on Microsoft Platforms. There is a software on Linux called "Wine" and it can make a ".exe file...

How Install wine on Linux

There are many ways to install wine on your Linux OS, However very easy way is installing with "Add/Remove programs".
# Firstly connect to the Internet
# Then goto "Add/Remove programs" and search for wine
You can see a result like "Wine microsoft competibility layer"(in ubuntu9.04) or something else.
# Then install it on your system.
You can get some idea with relevant Screen shots of Linux-Ubuntu9.04.

__How execute .exe files with wine
Right click on your .exe file and open it with Wine software....
