Dear Friends, this article will teach you, how add new resolution value to your list of Resolutions
1. Goto Terminal 2. Give command : xrandr then you will see a result like the screen shot given below..

Some times we want to edit main menu of our Operating System according our needs. In Ubuntu 9.04 you can edit main menu by write clicking on main menu and selecting "Edit Menus" then you can see a window like given below and you can insert new menus and menu items, delete menus and can see properties of menus with relevant buttons. See the screen shot to get a clear idea.

If you want to add your custom place like some folder to "places" menu on ubuntu you can do it like this Go to your folder to be added to "places" menu and select "Add Bookmark" from Bookmark tab of top menus. And you can do it same with pressing "Ctrl + D" when you have opened current place. You can get a clear idea with screen shot.

If you want to change your current Desktop background you can do it like these ways. If you want to change the Screen resolutions on Ubuntu 9.04, you can do it like this. Go to System → Preferences → Display then you can change resolutions as your choice. See the screen shot given below.
